The beaches are coming to town: From August 30 to September 3, 2025, Düsseldorf will be the venue for the CEV Beach Euro 2025 – Sportdeutschland.TV will broadcast the home tournament live and exclusively. As a long-standing rights partner, the streaming provider will once again show all the tournament's matches, this time in front of a home crowd and with expanded editorial coverage.

Julius Brink as reporter on site, Laura Ludwig as expert in the TV studio

A special highlight: two Olympic beach volleyball champions will be working for and on Sportdeutschland.TV this year. Julius Brink, gold medalist in 2012, will be working as a reporter for the online sports channel for three days. The three-time European champion will be reporting directly from the venue in Düsseldorf and providing exclusive insights for all fans on Sportdeutschland.TV and the associated social media channels. Exciting insights are guaranteed from the world-class athlete with years of experience – only on Sportdeutschland.TV.

In addition, the streaming provider will produce a daily studio show with commentary on the top matches of the day from its own TV studio. Laura Ludwig, gold medalist in 2016, will be an expert for the sports streaming provider for the first time, bringing with her almost 20 years of professional beach volleyball experience. Alongside Laura Ludwig, Julius Brink will also be contributing his expertise not only on site but also from the TV studio. Commentator Daniel Tannenbaum (formerly Höhr) will accompany the matches daily and provide in-depth analysis, commentary, and emotional moments. Together with impressions directly from the court, this will result in a broadcast of the European Championships in a form never seen before – close, emotional, and comprehensive.
