Traditionally, a major women's handball tournament closes the year on Sportdeutschland.TV. From the 28th of November to the 15th of December 2024, the Women's EHF EURO 2024, which will take place in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland, can be watched live, exclusively and free of charge on the sports streaming platform from Munich. A familiar team will take the commentators' seats, but all handball fans can look forward to various surprise guests from the world of sport.

 

Broadcast concept and model

All 65 matches of the Women's EHF EURO 2024 will be broadcasted free of charge on Sportdeutschland.TV starting on November 28, 2024. All matches with German participation will be accompanied from a TV studio in Krefeld, and from the main round onwards, all handball fans can look forward to further matches with commentary. In addition to the usual broadcast, there will be exciting show elements for the fans, allowing them to participate even more closely in the European Handball Championship.

All European Championship matches will be available as video-on-demand afterwards. The online broadcaster will also offer highlight clips of all matches on its YouTube channel. Sportdeutschland.TV thus offers a comprehensive and extensive handball experience and broadcasts the major event in an unprecedented form.

 

Well-established and popular commentary duo

The matches will be accompanied by a duo well-known on Sportdeutschland.TV. Handball commentator Tobias Schimon will be working in a double team with expert and former national team player Ina Großmann. The duo has already accompanied the last major DHB women's tournaments and is very popular with all handball fans. In addition, all viewers of the broadcasts can look forward to various surprise guests.

 

All games free of charge on all devices

The special thing for all handball fans: the entire European Championship can be watched free of charge on the sports streaming platform. This makes the entire tournament with all matches, all shows and all highlights accessible to the entire fan base and viewership in Germany.

The Women's EHF EURO 2024 on Sportdeutschland.TV is only available in Germany. Users can watch the European Handball Championship on their computer via browser, in the smartphone app (Android and iOS) or on their TV via the Smart TV app.
