Zverev's Triumph Caps Off a Successful U.S. Open on SPORTEUROPE.TV

SPORTEUROPE.TV looks back on a highly successful US Open tournament: More than 50 million minutes of watch time and, for the first time, over one million registered users on the platform.

Munich, September 24, 2026 – The 2026 US Open was one of the biggest sporting events to date on SPORTEUROPE.TV. During the main draw, the platform recorded more than 50 million minutes of watch time related to the Grand Slam tournament. At the same time, SPORTEUROPE.TV surpassed the one-million mark for registered users. With comprehensive live coverage, commentary by Boris Becker and Matthias Stach, as well as highlights and editorial content, the platform offered a diverse range of programming centered on the action in New York.

The US Open also generated significant momentum beyond its own platform. With a targeted social media strategy, SPORTEUROPE.TV reached not only the tennis community but also broader audiences. Content related to the tournament achieved a reach of 46.7 million and more than 2.6 million interactions.

Additional visibility was generated through a strong network of media and content partners. The video content related to the US Open featured on these platforms generated a total of more than 2.5 million video views.

“The U.S. Open was an important milestone for us following the relaunch of SPORTEUROPE.TV. The fact that our enhanced offering was used so extensively and so well received by fans is a strong endorsement of the direction we’ve taken with the platform. We want to build on this and continue to consistently enhance the sports experience for our users. “I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to our entire team and our partners, who made these successful weeks possible,” says Tim Schnabel, COO of SPORTEUROPE.TV.
